The gym at Building 961 Patch Rd Road, Fort Sam Houston City, is a decent spot for working out. The atmosphere is good, with a shower available for those who need it. One issue that may affect some visitors is the lack of air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable during hot summer months. This is somewhat mitigated by the numerous fans available throughout the gym. The gym is also wheelchair accessible, with a parking lot and entrance that are easily navigable. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, which is a plus. However, some visitors have mentioned that the gym can get crowded at times, and the equipment is not always well-maintained. Overall, this gym is a good option for those who want a no-frills workout experience, but it may not be the best choice for those who prefer a more luxurious or high-tech gym environment.
