This restaurant is a great option for those looking for a casual and trendy dining experience. The food is a mix of traditional Mexican cuisine and modern twists, which can be a bit hit or miss. Some dishes, like the asada burrito, are filling and flavorful, while others, like the dry overcooked rice, can be a letdown. The prices are reasonable, with most meals falling in the $10-$15 range. However, be careful when ordering multiple items, as the staff may try to overcharge you. The restaurant is very popular, with a diverse crowd of students, professionals, and families with kids. The atmosphere is lively and fun, making it a great spot for groups and solo diners alike. The service is generally friendly and efficient, with some exceptions where the staff can be a bit disorganized. One major issue is that some customers have reported receiving undercooked or small portions of meat, which can be a disappointment for the price paid. Additionally, the restaurant's name suggests that all tacos are a dollar, which is not the case. Overall, this restaurant is a solid option for those looking for a quick and affordable meal, but be aware of the potential issues with food quality and portion size.
