This location has some definite drawbacks, starting with the phone service. The person answering the phone, Liz, is reportedly unprofessional and lacked empathy. This sets a negative tone for the entire experience. While the staff may be rude and inconsistent, Dr. Hooker is said to be a wonderful doctor. However, his team's ineptitude in handling appointments and communication with patients is a significant issue. This problem is compounded by the office's failure to work effectively with insurance to obtain necessary medications or medical devices. The location's accessibility features, such as wheelchair-accessible restrooms and parking, are a redeeming quality. Unfortunately, these positives are not enough to overcome the numerous issues that plague this location. A significant issue is the office staff's inability to make appointments and relay messages properly, leading to frustration for patients. It's concerning that this team's incompetence has driven away some patients to the point where they're willing to leave their doctor due to it. The lack of professionalism and empathy in the office staff is disturbing. A successful medical office should have a team that is not only knowledgeable but also courteous and understanding. In this location, patients have reported being spoken to harshly by staff, which creates a hostile environment. Despite the wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, and restrooms, this location's numerous problems make it difficult to recommend. The lack of a functional and professional team holds this location back from being a truly effective medical office.
