Fall in San Antonio means basketball is back. Pickup trucks wrapped in silver and black circle the Frost Bank Center. Homes glow with black-and-white holiday lights, synced to “Go Spurs Go.”
Bars fuel the excitement too. The Friendly Spot Ice House hosts outdoor watch parties, McIntyre’s Southtown streams games on its patio, and Smoke Skybar keeps fans loud downtown. Depending on the matchup, these nights feel more like festivals than sports events.
Spurs games also weave into fall traditions: televisions on during tamaladas, radios streaming during backyard fires, and jerseys hung next to Día de los Muertos altars.
