I went to Acacia OB/GYN with high hopes, but my experience was a mixed bag. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but the front desk could be more organized. It took me a while to get scheduled for an appointment, and when I did, I had to wait for about 30 minutes before being seen. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom could use some attention. The doctors and nurses I met were all knowledgeable and kind, but I did have some issues with communication. I was told that I needed to schedule a follow-up appointment, but I wasn't given any instructions on what to expect or how to prepare. I also had some trouble getting in touch with the office by phone. One of the biggest issues I had was with the office's policy on allowing children in the waiting area. I understand that some patients may not want to bring their kids with them, but I think it's reasonable to allow parents to bring their young children with them, as long as they are not a distraction. Unfortunately, the office staff seemed to have a very strict policy on this, and I felt like I was being treated unfairly.Overall, I would give Acacia OB/GYN 3.3 out of 5 stars. While the staff and doctors were friendly and knowledgeable, the office could use some improvements in terms of organization and communication. I would recommend this office to friends and family, but with some caveats. As for the issues I had, I think the biggest one was the office's policy on allowing children in the waiting area. I think this policy could be reevaluated to make it more patient-friendly. I also think that the office could do a better job of communicating with patients and providing them with clear instructions and expectations. Finally, I think that the office could do a better job of managing their waiting list and scheduling appointments in a more timely manner.
