I walked into this medical center for the first time, and I was immediately struck by the outdated decor. The furniture looked like it was from the 90s, and the overall atmosphere felt clinical and uninviting. Despite this, the staff seemed friendly and welcoming, and they got me checked in quickly. However, my experience with the doctor was lackluster. I was seen by a nurse practitioner who seemed to be in a hurry, and she didn't take the time to explain my test results or answer my questions thoroughly. I felt like I was just a number, not a patient. The wait times were also a major issue. I waited over an hour to be seen, and then another 30 minutes to get my test results. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, and I had to ask multiple times for updates on my appointment. One major issue I encountered was the lack of transparency regarding my test results. I was told that the doctor would call me with the results, but I never received a call. I had to follow up multiple times to get the results, and even then, I had to ask for them to be explained to me.Despite these issues, I did appreciate the clinic's commitment to providing affordable care. They offered sliding scale fees and accepted multiple insurance plans, which made it more accessible to low-income patients.Overall, I would give this medical center 2.8 stars out of 5. While the staff was friendly, the wait times were excessive, and the quality of care was subpar. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values timely and thorough care.
