I visited Methodist Physicians Neurology Specialists at their San Antonio location, which has a Surgery category. The staff and doctors were generally very professional and knowledgeable, with some exceptions. The majority of the staff I interacted with were helpful and courteous, especially the nurses and some of the receptionists. However, I encountered a few instances where the phone staff were rude and unprofessional, which was disappointing. The facility itself is well-maintained and has a clean, modern atmosphere. The waiting area is comfortable, and the restroom is wheelchair accessible. However, I did notice that the parking lot and entrance are also wheelchair accessible, which is a plus for patients with mobility issues.The working hours are standard for a medical practice, with Monday to Thursday being the longest days, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday being shorter, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. They do not operate on Saturdays and Sundays.I didn't experience any issues with the billing or insurance, and the pricing seems to be reasonable, given the high quality of care.One area for improvement is the phone system. There were instances where I had trouble reaching someone to schedule an appointment or get answers to my questions. However, once I was able to speak with someone, they were generally helpful.Overall, I would recommend Methodist Physicians Neurology Specialists for their high-quality care and professional staff. However, I would caution potential patients to be patient and persistent when trying to reach them by phone.
