This place is definitely worth a visit, especially with kids. The River Walk Street location is convenient and easily accessible by car or on foot. The kids will enjoy the powerful hydraulics that open and close the water gates, and the construction on the right side gate gives a unique behind-the-scenes view. A beautiful walk along the river is also a treat, shaded by plenty of trees. There are no issues with wait times, as you can visit at any time, including weekends. However, some parts of the facility are under construction, which might be worth noting. A great place to visit for a free entry and no need to reserve a spot.
