I've lived at The Redland for over a year and had mixed experiences. The complex has a lot of great qualities, such as beautiful grounds, a great pool, and friendly staff. However, there are some issues that need to be addressed, like parking for guests, which is limited and can lead to towing. The management has made efforts to improve, but there's still room for growth.The staff is generally helpful and responsive, especially Vanessa, who is a wonderful manager. The office staff is also friendly and welcoming. However, I've had some issues with maintenance, which can take a while to resolve. The playground area is also in need of renovation, as it's made of wood and is falling apart.Despite these issues, I've enjoyed my time at The Redland and appreciate the community events, such as food trucks and movie nights. The complex is also very pet-friendly, which is a big plus for me. Overall, I would recommend The Redland to others, but with some caveats.One major issue that I've experienced is the lack of transparency and communication from the management. I've had to follow up multiple times to get issues resolved, and even then, it's taken a while. This has been frustrating, especially when it comes to maintenance requests.Another issue is the quality of the apartments themselves. While they're generally clean and well-maintained, there have been some issues with pests and mold. The lighting in the apartments is also poor, making it difficult to see at night.Finally, I want to mention the parking situation, which can be a challenge, especially on weekends.
